Mattel releases early preview of MOTUC Mekaneck

Because I (as many other people in the world) am a Club Eternia Subscriber I was privy to an early preview of the October figure, Mekaneck. Many fans have been wanting Mekaneck for quite some time now and he it looks like they will get their wish soon. According to the early preview email Mekaneck will have two fully articulated and interchangeable neck segments. One is 2” tall and the other is 5” tall. So there he is folks, what do you think? I personally think it’s cool he has two different neck pieces instead of just one.

Shout! Factory to release Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

That’s right kids; the long awaited release of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is almost over. Shout! Factory will be releasing Season 1 Volume 1 this August. Head over to their store to get your preorders in.

I was a huge fan of the original MMPR and have been waiting for a long time for an official release. How about you fanboys, did you enjoy the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers?

Horde Prime, Snake Man-At-Arms, Griffin Carded images

Mattel has recently released carded images for Horde Prime, Snake Man-At-Arms and the Griffin which will be released next month on June 15^th at mattycollector.com. Personally I am super excited for Horde Prime, especially since Mattel won’t release his alternate head until the figure is actually released. I also think Snake Man-At-Arms and the Griffin both look bad ass as well.

Scarlett Johansson wants Black Widow solo film

I just found an interesting article over at comicbookmovie.com where Scarlett Johansson talks a bit about wanting to be part of a solo Black Widow movie that shows her origins and how she becomes part of S.H.I.E.L.D. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Avengers related movies and I wouldn’t mind seeing a solo Hawkeye or Black Widow movie. Maybe even a movie with both.
